Introducing Kate Fogg, HR Manager at Welcomm Communications
Kate is a highly skilled HR Consultant and Trainer, experienced in training managers in Employment Law and HR best practice. Having worked with the business for the last 3 years as our HR Manager, hear from Kate about her experience of working with Welcomm.
At Welcomm we have circa 70 people, all with very different personalities and skills which brings a great mix to our team. My job is very diverse, however predominantly I drive the HR and people agenda for the business, ensuring that we prioritise the health, safety and welfare of our employees.
Most importantly I work to ensure that we develop our people to the very best of their potential and give them as many opportunities as we can.
“We have developed an amazing and unique family culture at Welcomm that I have seen in very few businesses throughout my career.”
It’s really important to me that people are kind and supportive to one another whilst driving to get the job done. That’s why we developed our company values. We recruit and review our people against these values to make them part of our daily working life. I believe that if we get the ‘people bit’ right in our business, we get the ‘customer bit’ right too.
We live in unprecedented times with COVID-19 and as such, the role of HR has taken many different twists and turns. I am very proud to hold this position at Welcomm and will continue to do my very best for our people and ultimately for our customers.
