B2B dealer Welcomm Communications last month boosted its brand exposure by entering a rugby team in the Leicester Tigers National Corporate 7's tournament.
The Market Harborough-based O2 centre of excellence partner assembled a team made up of its styaff, existing customers and O2 managers for the event, which was held at the Welford Road stadium.
O2 head fo wholesale Dan Cunliffe captained the Welcomm team.
The event costs £2,250 per team and provides companies the opportunity to exhibit their products and services, as well as chances to promote and market their brands.
Ten national companies entered the tournament, including HSBC, PwC and car maker Jaguar.
The event raised funds for three charities- Army Benevolent Fund, Hope Against Cancer and Matt Hampson Foundation.
Welcomm, who were beaten in the final against sportswear maker G-Force, is also buyring a corporate box at the stadium for the coming season.
Welcomm Chairman Chris Stanton said: "This event gave us an ideal opportunity to involve our customers and O2 staff, along with some of its key customers."
O2 head of partners Maggie Kennedy said: "We encourage collaborative working between O2 and our partners, something that Welcomm is also passionate about."
